In Memory of Former Pupil Chris Byrne

We were delighted to welcome Terry and Eunice Byrne, along with daughter Karen to our Year 6 Prizegiving. The Byrnes brought along a beautiful trophy to be presented for the first time in memory of their late son Christopher, a former Head Boy and pupil at The Blue Coat School, who sadly passed away last year. Chris' former classmates Tammy and Nick were also able to join us for this special occasion. Congratulations to Joel, who was the first recipient of the Chris Byrne Memorial Trophy celebrating all round achievement. Like Chris was in his time at the School, Joel is a very talented young man both on the sports field, academically and musically. A deserving winner of this precious award. |
